Train Tales is an educational game aimed at children that are in the process of learning English. The game takes the players on a journey through 5 countries: Spain, Mexico, Chile, Finland and Australia.

Through 4 minigames and diaglogue, the player learns more about that country. The minigames consist of:

Animal Minigame: connect the name, footprint and sound of an animal with its visual.

Geography Minigame: Connect the famous landmarks and nature with their corresponding place on the map.

True or False Quiz: answer a bunch of trivia questions with true or false.

Multiple Choice Minigame: end game that serves as a test. Asks questions about previously aquired knowledge.

Personal Thougths

Train Tales was the first project I worked on in a team over a longer period of time. I learned a lot of valuable lessons and the importance of clearly communicating. I overal really enjoyed working on the project and had a great time with some really good teammates.

The game has the purpose of educating children and it does it quite well. The minigames are simple yet engaging and the animal friend that represents the country is a nice selling point. I think this game turned out really well, and so did the teachers considering our grades :)
